Accessibility statement

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Our target

This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. We build for clients in healthcare, legal, and finance — sectors with accessibility obligations of their own — so we hold our own site to the standard we sell.

What we verify on every build

Accessibility here is enforced by machines before any release, not reviewed occasionally by hand. On every build: an automated WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA sweep (axe-core) runs against every page on this site, with animations disabled so revealed content is scanned in its final state; our colour palette's contrast ratios are asserted as unit tests against every dark surface they appear on, so a failing combination cannot compile into a release; and a visual audit checks focus styles, heading order, and a single H1 per page. The site also respects prefers-reduced-motion, keeps every text size at 12px or above, provides visible keyboard focus on all interactive elements, uses semantic landmarks throughout, and names every control for assistive technology — including the state of toggle buttons on our application form.

Known limitations — stated plainly

Automated checks catch most, not all, barriers. A full manual screen-reader audit (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) has not yet been completed, and we have not yet obtained third-party certification of conformance. Both are planned; until they are done we say “targets AA,” not “certified AA” — the same rule we apply to every claim on this site.

Found a barrier?

If anything on this site doesn't work with your assistive technology, that is a bug and we want it. Email hello@launchpadinc.ca with the page and what happened; we reply within 48 hours and accessibility reports go to the front of the queue.
